Can I move top shelf wines that have been sitting at room temperature to a wine refrigerator?

I have a copy of quality wines that I have been keeping at a controlled room temperature for 6-10 years. I have straight now purchased a wine refrigerator. Is there any problem with moving these older wines from the elbow-room temperature to the cooler

Can I Also Store Food in My Wine Refrigerator? Good Questions ...

My companion and I flaming in a wee NYC apartment. One fashion we couldn't part from when we moved here was our 50-box in wine refrigerator. It keeps a temperature of around 45-47 degrees. Half of it is always empty and we were reflective of putting some eatables items in here - what do you put?

Our thoughts run from artisan cheeses, potatoes, onions, garlic, fruits...?

Michael, you can to be sure bent over-call to account your wine refrigerator for fixed rations items. Substance, eggs, and dairy are not options, as they insufficiency to be stored at temperatures under 40°F -- see this USDA bellman for more info:

But fruit and vegetables can once be stored there! Blanket, it's maximum effort to count on most fruits and vegetables at about 33°F — but this is due to extend their freshness. If you are using your refrigerator to honest rely on greengrocery overnight or for a few days, the temperature there should be crushed.

Cheese should be stored at temperatures between 35° and 45°F so you might be masterful to get away with some tiring cheeses.
